Everyone has their own opinion on whether the movies or books are better. I honestly think it depends on what they change about the books in the movies. Sometimes the movies will be way more different than the books or not so much different. Sometimes movies take out so much stuff that is actually interesting.

The Harry Potter series is an example of how they took out some of the characters from the book and changed the plot some. I honestly like both the movies and books because they both have something I like about them both. I like the books because of the extra things that happen and the characters. Sometimes I just like to read the books rather than watching the movies. The movies are great for when I want to see everything that happens without having to use my imagination.

The Outsiders is an example of how there are different things that happen in the movie that was done other ways in the book. The book also has more details about what happens but the movie does not really describe what happens as much as the book did. I personally really enjoy reading the book over watching the movie because it has more details added about the things that happen that the movie doesn’t have.
